Connections Cocktail Hour

Please join us for a special Connections Cocktails Event about Big Apple Greeters. For over 30 years, Big Apple Greeter’s volunteers have accompanied thousands of visitors a year to more than 100 neighborhoods in all five boroughs. These new friends have come from all 50 states, more than 100 countries and have been greeted in more than 20 languages.

BJ member Harriet Abraham, who has been a volunteer with Big Apple Greeters for several years, will be talking about her experiences. She’ll explain how New Yorkers can volunteer to be Greeters and how those visiting from out of town can take advantage of this exciting program. All are welcome.

For security purposes, registration is required in advance. The registration cut-off is 5:30PM on Mondays.
