DESCRIPTION:We are excited to invite your child to join us on our annual trip to Washington DC. This trip provides an opportunity for our students to further their learning about the Holocaust while bonding with their peers and connecting to the BJ community outside of the classroom. We will visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum\, tour monuments\, celebrate Shabbat together\, and learn and reflect on our experiences. \nIn order to maximize our time and ensure a meaningful experience\, we will be leaving Friday morning\, March 4\, 2022 at 7:15AM. We will return from Washington DC on Sunday\, March 6 around 6:30PM. \n \nThis program is included for all students enrolled in Haverim ‘20-’21 (current 8th grade) and ‘21-’22 (current 7th grade)\, or can be purchased for $450. We hope you will consider joining us for this special trip! \nRegistration closed Tuesday\, November 23\, 2021.  \n  \nWhat are our Covid Protocols for this trip? \nThis plan has been formulated based on guidelines from the CDC\, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH)\, and our peer programs\, building upon BJ’s Re-entry Task Force August report and campus operations plan. These guidelines are based on the conditions on the ground today. As such\, they are subject to change if conditions change. \n\nAll participants are required to submit proof they are fully vaccinated (two weeks after JJ shot or second Pfizer or Moderna shot) before the trip. No exceptions. \nAll participants must provide proof of negative PCR test results within 3 days of departure for the trip.\nStudents will be in shared hotel rooms for the trip\, as well as busses. When with their hotel pod\, they are allowed to be unmasked\, but as of now\, all group travel will be masked.

DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to share that we will be taking BJ Teens in 8th-12th grade out of the city for Shabbat\, Dec 3-5\, 2021. Our teens will have a chance to rejuvenate\, reconnect\, and have a blast together! \nRegister Now\nWe will be leaving at 2:00PM to arrive at the retreat before Shabbat. We will arrive back at BJ Sunday afternoon.  \n  \nWhat are our Covid Protocols for this trip? \nThis plan has been formulated based on guidelines from the CDC\, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH)\, and our peer programs\, building upon BJ’s Re-entry Task Force August report and campus operations plan. These guidelines are based on the conditions on the ground today. As such\, they are subject to change if conditions change. \n\nAll participants are required to submit proof they are fully vaccinated (two weeks after JJ shot or second Pfizer or Moderna shot) before participating in-person programming. No exceptions. \nAll participants\, whether vaccinated or not\, must provide proof of negative PCR test results within 3 days of departure for the trip.\nThe staff and drivers with our partner organization are all vaccinated. Beyond that\, we will follow all protocols put in place by the hotels and museums and will let you know what those are\, if any\, closer to your trip as things will change between now and then.\nStudents will be in shared hotel rooms for the trip\, as well as busses. When with their hotel pod\, they are allowed to be unmasked\, but as of now\, all group travel will be masked.
