SUMMARY:Reordering the Pesah Seder for Humanity
DESCRIPTION:When we observe so much of the brokenness in our world\, it’s hard to imagine that this is what humanity ordered. The first night of Pesah offers us Leil Seder—literally “the night of order”—to think about a restoration of society where everyone belongs and is valued. Join Rabbi Mike Moskowitz for an exploration of insights on this reordering that can inform our outlook on sustainable models of being. \nRegister Now\nRabbi Mike Moskowitz is the Scholar-in-Residence for Trans and Queer Jewish Studies at Congregation Beit Simchat Torah\, the world’s largest LGBT synagogue. He is a deeply traditional and radically progressive advocate for trans rights and a vocal ally for LGBTQ inclusivity. Rabbi Moskowitz received three Ultra-Orthodox ordinations while learning in the Mir in Jerusalem and in Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood\, NJ. He is a David Hartman Center Fellow and the author of Textual Activism. His writings can be found on his website.
